Reflecting on a rewarding experience
I have some personal news to share. After serving as your Chair, I will be stepping down from April 2026.
It is been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I have loved seeing the positive changes we have made together in our village. I am committed to staying on this year to help see through the initiatives we agreed upon at the AGM, but I am also excited to watch a new Chair and team bring fresh energy and ideas to the role.
Interested in taking on the role?
As of now, we do not have a replacement in place. If you are passionate about supporting our village and think you might be a good fit, I would love to hear from you!
There is plenty of time to prepare - you are welcome to shadow me for a hands-on learning experience or join me in a more active role from December to ensure a smooth transition.
It is important we find someone to step into this role, as our constitution requires a Chair for the village hall to remain open. Your leadership could make a real difference!
I will still be around!
While I will be stepping down from the official position, I am not disappearing. I plan to stay involved as a volunteer, particularly when it comes to the Christmas lights and other seasonal events. I am more than happy to lend a hand and support the new board members wherever needed.
If you are curious or have any questions, please reach out — I would be thrilled to chat about the role and what it involves.
Thank you once again for the support. I am proud of everything we have achieved together, and I can not wait to see what is next for our Village and the work the CVA will go on to do!
Love,
Franziska
